Married with 2 kids, one of which has 4 legs and barks. Currently down a Riesling rabbit hole with the vineyards of North Canterbury; otherwise, an avid snowboarder when time allows.
Matt has over 20 years of property experience in commercial real estate both in New Zealand and abroad, encompassing a variety of disciplines. He’s held roles in network property management with Vodafone, project leasing for the new Eurostar terminal at St Pancras Station, commercial property management with CBRE and Tramco Group, and sales and leasing through Wilson Hurst (now Ray White Commercial).
In 2018, born out of a requirement from Spark to provide additional coverage and capacity on their cellular network for their Spark Sport platform during the Rugby World Cup, Matt and Paul started Acquisition Plus. They had a mandate to acquire 30 new sites in the central North Island. Since 2018, Acquisition Plus has grown into a team of 12 and provides acquisition, project management, and lease management resources to all the major players in the telecommunications industry in New Zealand.
Matt splits his time between running Acquisition Plus, focusing on growing long-term partnerships with clients, and working on the tools by providing site acquisition skills to clients.
